Opposites and similars: a 14-word thinking skills structure for assessing conceptual clarity in RE

This strategy is perfect for exploring the ‘big concepts’ in RE GCSE or Scottish examinations, and also usable with much younger learners. The idea is derived from a strategy used by personal construct psychologists, to draw out the often-unacknowledged aspects of thinking about a concept that are hidden in the brain.
