Three young Hindu pilgrims getting fresh visions of their world

Three young people, Keli and Sita, both 10, and Yamuna, 18, describe the big experience of Hindu pilgrimage and how it changed the ways they see the world. We all look at life from the lenses of our habitual worldviews, and sometimes it takes a pilgrimage to open our eyes to fresh visions. Use the article with your pupils to deepen their knowledge of Hindu traditions and challenge the fixed worldviews that often absorb us. You can use the activities at the end of the article. Thanks to teacher Tulsi Seva Dasi and the pupils at the Hare Krishna Hindu school at Bhaktivedanta Manor, Watford, for the materials we present here.
