Theology at university? Eight ways to connect your senior students to university study 

In the last academic year one of my Year 12 pupils decided to take it upon herself to enter the John Locke Institute philosophy essay competition. To my utter delight she was chosen to attend the prizegiving weekend in Oxford in September and, while there, she benefited hugely from attending seminars and meeting the other candidates over a black-tie dinner. There had been over 4,000 entries from more than 100 countries, and this experience not only reinforced her determination to study philosophy, but her success also brought kudos to the RE department. However, it made me think: what about theology? So, here are my suggestions to promote the study of theology among your students.
